Week 12 Fantasy

Today is going to be a special day.  We will have a fantasy post as well as week 12 picks coming at you today.  With Thanksgiving tomorrow, we have 3 games on the slate while we stuff our faces full of food.  Let’s start of with the fantasy adds.

Jacoby Brissett- Through his last 3 starts, he’s averaging 254 passing yards and 2 passing touchdowns.  He does have 1 turnover in those games as well.  So depending on your league’s scoring he’s averaging around 25 points per contest.  Last time these teams played, he scored just under 20 points, but that was at Tennessee.  They are coming off a bye week so they’ve had 2 weeks to game plan for the Titans.  I believe he’s the best streaming option if you’re quarterback has a tough matchup.  So teams with Drew Brees, Jared Goff, Matthew Stafford or Cam Newton (away at Jets), could look at Jacoby as a streamer.  Remember we’re getting to the playoff push in most leagues.

Jimmy Garoppolo- Has anyone added him yet in your league?  Well if they haven’t, then step right up.  Jimmy should be the starter coming out of the bye week.  That’s 3 weeks learning the new offense while Shannahan pretty much said he was going to be the starter. He has shown flashes that he can be fantasy relevant with the starts he had in New England. Roll on Jimmy!

Samaje Perine- He finally had a breakout game last week.  Rushing 23 times for 117 yards and a touchdown.  He doesn’t have much value in the passing game, which could change since Chris Thompson went down.  The Redskins do have a lot of injuries on the offensive line, but they seem to be able to still have an offense with Kirk Cousins behind center.  Look for him to continue getting the rock as well as adding value into the passing game.  He did come out of the game banged up a little bit and on a short week, but with a limited participation at practice helps him out.

J.D. McKissic-  Ended last weeks game as the leading back in Seattle.  Everyone was high on Mike Davis, but he went down with a groin injury.  Although it does seem that the starter doesn’t get through a whole game.  He does have value in both the run game as well as the passing game.  He ended the game with 5 catches along with 7 carries (Mike Davis started).

Josh Doctson-  I’ve had him a couple times now, but seems though people aren’t buying into Doctson.  Him and Kirk are getting on the same page along with Terelle Pryor out for the season.  Doctson will add more snaps to his count for added value.  Kirk needs to throw to someone, correct?

Danny Amendola-  He was supposed to step right in and be the Julian Edelman of the year.  Started off the season do well, but has been banged up a little bit.  In two games since the bye, he is averaging 6 catches a game.  Tom Brady trusts him maybe not as much as Edelman, but the trust is still there.  The next 3 games are 2 against Miami and 1 against Buffalo.  Those are pretty nice matchups until Hogan is able to come back.

George Kittle- He’s been disappointing since he was on the fantasy radar, but they are coming out of the bye with possibly Jimmy Garoppolo starting.  That should give George a bump in stats.  Seattle is 21st against opposing tight ends and with Kam Chancellor out for the season they will only be worse.
